Antique carafe accompanied by 4 glasses published by Pastis Duval, part of a series of 12. Each of the glasses in the series refers to a city in the south of France and is illustrated by the coat of arms of each of these cities. The 4 glasses presented here are those of the cities of Nice, Beaucaire, Tarascon and Ales.
A nice set for the Duval collector.
From the end of the 1930s, pastis became the favorite aperitif of the French.
DUVAL created a Marseille anise called Pastis Duval since 1915.
French aniseed drink brands have been regularly publishing promotional material for bars and restaurants since the 1950s.
The set is in very good condition, no chips or scratches.
