This beautifully decorated tureen features small garnet-red stars, stenciled in a unique design. It will look stunning on your table and perfectly complement a country or cottage style.
Made by Céranord Saint Amand, in semi-vitrified ceramic.
"Ceranord" was established in 1908 in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux in northern France. Their emblem is a swan. This factory, which registered the trademarks "Lustroceram" and "Orceram", was the only one of the Saint-Amand faience group that remained in operation during the Second World War. In 1954, the other factories in the group were closed and only Ceranord remained under the name "Les Grands Etablissements Céramique", which closed its doors in 1962.
In very good condition, a small original defect (I think) on one handle (see last photo).
