This pretty French Provençal santon represents a Provençal shepherd.
He holds a walking stick in his left arm and a lantern in his left hand.
The figurine is made of terracotta and wire (for the arms). He wears velvet trousers, a shirt, a large brown felt cape, and a matching hat.
Signed JP Marinacci santon maker in Gréoux, a Provençal village in France.
