Restored Dejou doll's pram, dressed in Little Red Riding Hood, on wooden casters, French made by Dejou

He is dressed in a set including a mattress covered in dark red fabric, a pillow and a duvet made from fabric with a Little Red Riding Hood theme.
The pram has been washed, sanded, waxed with a mahogany colour wax except for the small bars which have been painted red and covered with an acrylic varnish, it is in perfect condition.
Delivered partially disassembled, it is easily reassembled with its screws/fasteners.

The Dejou company was based in Cantal. Since 1872, they had been producing wooden furniture and utensils.
Around 1935, the company redirected part of its production towards toy manufacturing. Depending on the season, the company modified its machines to be able to produce trucks, cranes, tractors, etc., before Christmas. After the holidays, Etablissements Dejou resumed its traditional production.
From 1937 to 1985, Dejou produced over a hundred different models of wooden toys: initially, fodder carts, horse-drawn dump trucks, followed by trucks, cranes, trains, tractors... along with doll furniture: beds, furniture, cars...
In the 1980s, the wood sector, the furniture industries and those of traditional toys, competing with plastic materials and lower-cost foreign manufacturing, went through an unprecedented crisis, and, in 1985, the Dejou company closed its doors.
