This magnificent cheese board has a lovely design typical of the 1960s, this small round cheese board signed VALLAURIS is an original mix of textures and colors in the center a flower on a glossy dark brown glaze background surrounded by a vibrant range and at the junction of the two cloudy white.
Marked "VALAURIS" on the base, which is the French coastal town on the Côte d'Azur made famous when Pablo Picasso settled there in 1948 and inspired a famous modernist ceramic studio movement in the area.
The tray's carrying handle is made of gold-colored metal.
A vintage addition to the table, ready to showcase your best French cheeses!
In good condition, the handle shows signs of wear.
