Magnificent set of 2 Art Deco spice jars from the 1920s-1930s, made of Victoria China Czechoslovakia earthenware, with a fluid and chic design, decorated in pink and blue, comprising:
- Sugar
- Flour
Measures from 16 cm to 19 cm in height
Total weight 620 gr
Good vintage condition, a small crack on the large pot (see last photo).
Victoria' Schmidt & Company was founded in 1883 by Lazarus and Rosenfeld Ltd. in Bohemia, and sold within two years to Franz Schmidt, who gave his name to the company. It then became known as Stará Role. Schmidt & Company and ceased to exist in 1945 when it merged with the Altrohlau and EPIAG porcelain factories, known as Starorolský Porcelán.
